Program Committee
The HSFO Program Committee creates a high-quality, well-balanced program by deciding what topics will be discussed during the annual conference. In addition, the committee is responsible for inviting the main speakers/presenters for sessions, workshops, and/or panel discussions; as well as insuring each session is assigned a moderator(s).
Arrangements Committee
The HSFO Arrangements Committee is responsible for ensuring the annual conference provides both an enjoyable and worthwhile experience for every attendee.
Training Committee
The HSFO Training Committee plans and arranges for all regional training activities. The committee develops an annual calendar of training activities/topics.
Corporate Member/ Sponsor Development Committee
The HSFO Corporate Member/Sponsor Development Committee promotes and cultivates relationships with current and prospective corporate members.
Marketing & Communications Committee
The HSFO Marketing & Communications Committee directs the overall comprehensive marketing and communications strategy. The committee is tasked with insuring an active and consistent web and social media presence, as well as print materials.
Membership Committee
The HSFO Membership Committee responsibilities include the recruitment of prospective agencies for membership in the association, to insure retention of current members, and to help the association achieve steady and healthy growth.
Federal Issues Committee
The HSFO Federal Issues Committee gathers and provides interpretation of information regarding federal budgets, legislation related to human services, and announcements of human services related regulations and policy.
Resolutions Committee
The HSFO Resolutions Committee provides an advisory and channeling function for all resolutions presented for the board’s consideration.
Bylaws Committee
The HSFO Bylaws Committee is responsible for creating and maintaining the association’s bylaws.
Regional Coordinator Committee
The HSFO Regional Coordinator positions are elected, one-year renewable terms. The Regional Coordinator position is responsible for assisting the executive board, membership committee, and the training committee, in their assigned region.
